Lake Levels Dropping!!

Mile High Marina has been notified by the Lake Reservoir Company that they are intending to perform an upgrade project at Lardo Dam this fall. They will be installing control gates in the six bays of the dam that presently are fitted with stop logs. The result will afford better control at high flow rates and will enhance lake level control in the early part of the season. The window of opportunity for the project is at the end of the boating season, and before winter weather prevents working on the project. The Lake Reservoir Company will be drafting down the water level quickly. The lake will remain at normal level through Labor Day but will begin dropping quickly on the 6th of September and will drop at a faster rate than usual. The Lake Resevoir Company has asked us to help spread the word about the lake level declining in hopes to avoid as much hardship as possible. The Star News will have an announcement in the next issue of their paper and please feel free to forward this email to any Payette Lake boater.
Mile High Marina is recommending that you make arrangements to have your boat pulled out of the water as soon as possible in order to avoid any problems with your boat in it's slip or at the boat launch.
That being said, it's time to make arrangements for winter boat storage. Mile High Marina is once again working with Hinson Power Sports to ensure that your boat and/or watercraft will be serviced properly and stored safely for the winter season. Mile High Marina will help coordinate the storage needs for your boat or watercraft for the winter while Hinson Power Sports will be the parts, sales and servicing center. Our procedures to winterize and/or store your vessel are similar to last year and are summarized as follows:
Please contact Hinson Power Sports at 208.634.7007 to schedule your pick up date and place your work order. Please make sure to include a dock number, keys and location of your trailer. Once all service requests have been completed your boat will be stored or returned to you accordingly.
Please be assured that we will be working diligently to provide the best service within the limited time schedule we have been given.
